I'm a fourty something Portuguese man, married, two children, one dog and one annoying cat. Throughout my life I've had a number of different jobs in restaurant kitchens, the latest being a sous chef.
I've travelled through South America, Europe and currently live in the UK. My experiences have deeply impacted the food I cook for my customers and for my family. My dishes are therefore a fusion of the cultures I've seen and tasted. My main influences come from my Portuguese background and the English and Polish food I'm surrounded with day in, day out.
When I cook I don't aim for a michelin star, intead I like honest, harty, can't-eat-anymore-I'm-so-full food.
